• Add option to rollback to v2.7.2 firmware, incase you have issues with the latest firmware
• Fix issue where some replacement PCBA’s couldn’t connect properly to Wootility in China

Firmware v2.8.0

This is the stable release of v2.7.3-beta.6

Changes since v2.7.2:

• [ARM] you can now have Advanced keys on the same physical key, but on different layers.
• Fn keys now work properly when used in a Toggle Key
• [UwU] Advanced keys now behave as expected on the digital buttons
• [60HE] Fix Fn Layer 2 recreating itself after a restart
• RGB Brightness Up/Down bindings will now respect the Tachyon mode stability cap
• [AVR] Memory optimisations to fix crashing issues on Two HE (AVR) and Two Lekker Edition
• Fix an issue where keys would deactivate while held when pressing the Fn key

Following changes are not relevant to AVR boards:

Over the past while, we’ve been working hard on significant improvements to our Analog Signal processing. This has fixed various end user issues that have popped up as well as making the keyboard more sensitive and accurate. The biggest impact will be felt with Tachyon mode, which was not in a great state when it comes to sensitivity previously.

All this being said, this story is not over. There are more fixes and improvements to come, we have not yet achieved full utilisation of the hardware’s capabilities.

For AVR boards, I hope to bring some of these improvements to AVR in the future.

In short:

• New system for automatically performing deeper calibration while the keyboard is idle
• Overhauled start-up calibration process which gets you 95% calibration immediately and the new automatic system will calibrate you towards 100%
• Overhauled end of press calibration system
• Better handling of variances across switches and sensors
